- 12 Tylon 1444 - The party returns once again to the Prime of Keedrah
The Story
The party carefully navigated through the mountain pass, led by their guide Havaar of the Vistani. After the group passed the jagged terrain, a wave of dark necrotic energy washed through them. Shortly afterwards, they approach a huge crater in the mountain range. Within it they see a giant dragon's skeleton. Havaar informed them he can only perform the ritual from the highest point in the crater. As he said this the skeletal from of a normal sized dragon appeared in the mouth of a small cave in the side of the mountain that forms the far side of the crater. With a cry of "By Shealon! It's Hasslith come for us!", Havaar scurried to a place of safety as the party prepared for the dracolich.
The battle was not easy, but they managed to destroy the foul undead dragon. A quick exploration of the dracolich's cave revealed a small treasure hoard.
As Havaar prepared to cast the ritual to help us get home he discovered that Madam Saz has supplied her own lifeblood as a component. After stating the words out loud, Havaar seemed puzzled. He then shouted the words, and a portal to the Prime opened beneath the gigantic dragon skeleton. At the same time, the party hears a familiar noise, and turned to see the same figure they encountered beneath the graveyard when they first arrived to the Shadowfell.
The party jumped through the portal only find themselves sliding down the side of a mountain. Adran and Norvaan were able to arrest their descent before reaching the lip of a ravine. Oona and Laphane, however, were not as fortunate. Laphane fell the 30 feet to the bottom landing with a bone crunching impact, breaking multiple bones, knocking him unconscious, followed by Oona who landed hard on his feet, awake but definitely unhappy regarding his flight. Laphane is brought back to consciousness but is hanging on by the barest of threads. Thanks to a conveniently placed rope provided by Adran, Laphane manages to scale the side of the ravine, with Oona scampering up after him.
Catching their collective breath our situation becomes clear, it is the dead of winter and they left their winter clothing far behind. Oona handed out the Dwarven biscuits in the hopes this hearty, but tasteless, foodstuff will fortify him and his companions. As they descended the mountain, they arrived at the Aviary of the Roc Knights, closed up and silent.
After a very cautious entry by Norvaan and Oona, they found the outpost has been completely abandoned, though in an orderly fashion, for quite some time. They spent the night in the tower, in order to recover from the wounds received from the fall and the battle to escape. The next day the group proceeded into Danberg. The city was crowded with refugees and after some awkward questions they discover that they were believed dead after the site of Creiss Castle exploded. Three years had passed since that day, and much had changed.
They learned the following:
- Monsters (demons) spewed from the hole left by the explosion that happened when the party "killed" Thomas de Agueda.
- King Eric was gravely injured by demons (and was still recovering at Canton City).
- The Aguedan forces had taken over significant portions of the kings land but recently turned to the north.
- All trade had ground to halt due to the conflict and monsters roaming the lands.
- Tarce, a paladin of Morlander is known to be fighting for the Aguedan forces.
- The Blackiron clan of Dwarves had also joined de Agueda, though the Torian dwarves were still loyal and had held out so far.

- 2 diamonds (100 gold each) Oona took
- 1 sapphire (100 gold each) Oona took
- 1 small statuette of the death god in a dark wood (250 gold)
- and a small cache of magical items
