March 16, 2012 – In the Shadowfell - Gloomwrought

The Story

The party dug themselves out of the pit, and found themselves in a graveyard. The sky had a glooming sight to it. The party realized they had crossed over into the Shadowfell. Adran heard someone singing. Sneaking over, he saw a man digging a grave. The party walked over and talked to the man. He noticed the party was not from the Shadowfell and called them Primer. The party learned that they had been transported to the Shadowfell, and that they needed to head to Gloomwrought to help find a way home. Norvaan helped the gravedigger with the body (he noticed it wiggled a little). The party thanked the gravedigger, and headed towards the river to help them get to Gloomwrought.

The party made camp at the bank of the river. As they slept, Adran kept getting a strange feeling od deja-vu. In the morning the party headed towards Gloomwrought. After 2 days of travel, the party reached the gates of the Shadowfell city, and were greeted by the guardsmen. They immediately named the party as Primers.

After getting directions to different spots in Gloomwrought, Oona was drawn to the local watering hole. He and the rest of the party went in and got a drink. The party decided to go the the local temple, except for Ivon, he went to the leader of Gloomwrought. Norvaan didn't think this was a good idea, so the rest of the party went with Norvaan and Ivon went off to the Capital Center.

At the church the party talked with the acoltyes of the temple. They helped the party understand what was going on and how to find the people (Need name of group) that can help send them home. They mentioned the docks are where they usually are. So the party headed to the docks.

At the docks, Laphane and Adran heard someone shout at them to turn over everything they have, when they turned around, all the witnessed was someone who looked like Ivon, but not sure if it was him. Ivon was ambushed by Shadar-Kai, and the rest of party went off the rescue him. They were also ambushed by other shadar-kai. The battle was one. It was a dangerous battle, as the fight continued, it looked like the fight could go either way. But in the end, the party as victorious. After a brief rest, the party head out of Gloomwrought and seeked the people that could send them back to Keedrah.
