Story

Assigned to accompany Krysta Carver and Duke Piondargas back to Danberg, our brave band heads out. Over the course of the journey, the members of the party reveal parts about themselves.

Norvaan was given a satchel that was to be handed over to Sir Simon Artannon with instructions that it be handed over to him and only him.

Each night, Norvaan seeks out a high point to check for ambushes and people following, Oona drinks, Adran opens up to the rest of the party, and Saxon recommits himself to the trainings of the Striking stone.

Much of the journey was spent talking and getting to know everyone.

The final full day of travel brought us into the marsh of Fenhold. There the party was ambushed by a band of Bullywugs. They split the group up as the White Roses went to the front and rear of the caravan to battle. The party remained close to protect Lady Krysta and Duke Piondargas. Within the fight the party was split with Saxon and Norvaan battling the west side and Oona and Adran on the east.

The battle was tricky, since the bullywugs stench weakened the party when they tried to regain energy. The White Roses to the south were not as lucky. The bullywugs over-powered them and advanced to the rear carriage with Lady Krysta and Duke Piondargas in it. As two bullywugs approached and strange energy shot out from the carriage and fired both creatures. The battled ended shortly thereafer.

Clearing out the area, our party moved on. We approached the outskirts of Danberg, when Sir Simon Artannon of the Roc Knights of Danberg flew down to greet the party. Norvaan wanted to meet him in private, and agreed to do so the next day at the Aviary. After some discussion, we continued to Danberg, and swiftly entered the noble's district to hand Lady Krysta over to the Duke's house-man. Receiving our reward for the work, we headed to the Lion's Inn, where the party rested for the evening.
