Appearance

Sharp bronze googles with red stained glass res on his Sleek bandana acrossed forehead, Pinned Stripped button up shirt with a light black vest, smooth stylish pants and unbuckled black leather boots. Walking staff in hand and pipe usually hovering slightly to the left (being held by mage hand).

Tarnished silver hair with a few random strips of orange in a random spike configuration. A newly formed scar, mostly a discoloration of the skin splatters upward across the eye permantly leaving a bloodier version of the pearly and opalescent orb of vibrant blue.

Personality

a good will character who looks out for his shipmates. Tries to play the role of the well educated but has been hanging with a scurvy set of friends in the skies as of late, and a few of there traits have rubbed off. Alwasy keeps clothes and items looking prim and proper.

History

Raised in the city by my grandparents, mostly because Father fighting in bars and mother never around. He stuck to reading old tales and adventures far from here, from his grandparents adaquately stocked library. He learned all from his grandparents, their backroom library helped, but he just didnt know where my path was leading.

Started working a dreadful job as a messenger and file clerk. Tortured daily by people for a few coins, and still sleeping in the grandparents library. He needed something more and took a aptitude test at the "Magi Academy" in the area. Turns out that all that reading was not just for fun, and it got him in the front door, even though there was very little schooling history. He found himself becoming very excited at all the tombs he would read and secrets he would learn. That soon faded away when he relized that most students were many years younger. Harassed for being a bit older by the other students, he still excelled and made it out. Back into the world the stigma of a late bloomer still held him back and had to take an old position he dreaded....a messenger with posibility of seeing more.

Longer trips helped break the monotony, and even lead him to travel through the skies on a air ship. On one particual trip, he detected a shadowy character planning to steal the ship away and throw everyone overboard. Seeing how he couldnt fly yet it might be better off if the captain was aware of the situation. After the diffusion of the potentional GTA, Captain Walven offered him a job. Being a messege boy just did not have the appeal, compaired to a sky pirate.

Lives in a small room aboard the Air ship, Cloud, employed as a negotiations consultant. Sharing a room isnt too bad, when the dwarven 1st mate is off doing his duties. File clerk for the captain, but always off boat with the captain to aquire the supplies and any side jobs along the way. The Lion's Trading Company, sets up the current cargo or transportaion assignment, but it cant hurt to find a little something else along the way.

Present Day

Some time ago you were on this ship transporting a man named Louden Stirling across the continent, from West Gallans to East Gallans. The emperor of the empire had died recently, and Stirling, an old warrior and hero of the greater races war was travelling to meet the new empress. The ship was attacked by some kind of paladin, a bunch of dwarves on Griffins, and gargoyles. A fire started during the fight. Before you were knocked out, you saw the paladin slaying Stirling and pull a necklace off his body. The paladin who wears black armor, and wields a giant axe then turned his attention to you, and stuck you down. The first indication you weren't dead was waking up, tied to the back of his drake, blindfolded and gagged.

At the end of that trip, you found yourself being tied up to some sort of rack.

"There," the deep voice of a human said. "You were lucky I happened upon this one. Be more careful with him. I don't have time to go around finding you more." "Aye... Aye" responds a dwarf "It's not my fault their goddess made them so... soft." A calloused hand runs across your face. "Agueda expects the ones we have lost to be replaced, and even more if our master's plans are to be carried out." the human responds.

Your life after that is an exercise of pain. Occasionally your gag is removed, during these times, moldy bread and foul drink is poured into your mouth, the only sustenance you receive for this time. Then there's the pain. Deep, and to your soul, with your knowledge of magic, you're able to surmise that you're being used as some sort of conduit for magic. Something to do with elemental binding. You've remember from your Academy days, this being spoken of. Lesser creatures then eladrin sometimes used your people to empower rituals, or otherwise perform ones they normally could not. After several hours, the pain ends and you hear what sounds like stones grinding, and then you usually pass out, usually only waking to find more bread and drink being stuffed into your mouth, or for another round of pain. This cycle of hell has become your life.

one day, however, the pain stops in much shorter order then usual. The dwarf is silent for a moment, and then says to no one in particular, "you. get ready. something's going on..." You hear scraping, and more of the rock grinding sounds. Somewhere you think you may hear the sounds of combat, but you're not sure, as you drop out of consciousness once again.

This leads to the meeting of the group...
