A massive war that occurred some 30 years before the start of the current time. A dark entity known as Hayze used the power of an ancient artifact to summon up armies and begin conquering the continent. Several great heros assembled and with the assistance of the good races of the continent (dwarves, elves, humans, etc) were able to beat Hayze and his savage races back (ogres, orcs, trolls, etc).
