Ellistara is the Archon of the Eladrin people. She gained her office some 60 years ago when her mother passed it to her. She was the Archon that helped lead the Eladrin in the Battle of Windfall against the forces of Hayze.

History

In her youth, after a bloody battle with the Gallantrians, Ellistara found a wounded human soldier. Taking pity on him, she nursed him back to health, and in the process, fell in love. This produced a child and knowing her people wouldn't accept this and he took the baby back with him to Gallantria, which they had named Aleria. Twenty years later, now the Archon, Ellistara lead an army to Windfall, for the final battle that would decide the Greater Races War. There she met Grand General Gustav Shalt, whom she recognized immediately as her human lover from years before. As fate would have it, the two fought side by side against the fel hordes of Hayze, and thus marked the beginning of renwed peace with the Gallantrians. As a token of this newly found peace, Shalt and Ellistara dedicated a monument - a great granite obelisk - on the boarder of their lands, as a reminder of the lives lost in their centuries of hostilities.
